||Adoration of the Blessed Eucharist by Marco Fallon
Dear fellow Catholic Christians,
I want to personally invite you to spend some time before our Lord Jesus in the Blessed Eucharist. The Eucharistic Presence of Jesus is in all Catholic Church's as the Sacred Host is reserved in the Tabernacle and in some parish's there is a special chapel devoted to Adoration of the exposed Blessed Sacrament.
Personally Jesus has blessed and touched me in a special way through Adoration. You can say a prayer before him or use a devotional or simply remain in the loving silence of our Lord's presence. The fact that you are there is a prayer in of itself because you show your love and belief of the source and summit of our Catholic faith, that is Jesus the Risen Lord is truly and substantially present Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity in the Blessed Eucharist. Jesus awaits your visit. You can come before Him any time because He is there in the tabernacle. So please find some time to spend an hour, a half hour, 15 minutes or make a short visit to your local Catholic Church.
Once I read a story about St.
Jean-Marie-Baptiste Vianney (The cure' of Ars) a 19th century French priest who once noticed a peasant come in to the church and stay for hours in front of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. The Saint asked this man what do you say during all that time before Jesus in the Eucharist? The Peasant replied, "Nothing, I look at Him and He looks at me."
How awesome this gift in which Jesus our Lord and God is present here in the Eucharist. How awesome our Lord is to give us this way to approach our living God. Do you realize the awesome gift you have in Jesus present in the Blessed Eucharist? What will keep you away from the gift of our Lord who awaits you to spend a little time adoring him in the Eucharist?
Please look into your hearts and pray about this and try to make some time to come to adore Jesus in the Eucharist. For those who already come I thank you from the bottom of my heart. For those who cannot come because of physical limitations, work, etc., your intentions are in my prayers before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. For those who can come please try to find some time to come. You are in my prayers as well. May God continue to Bless you.

Why go to a Church or a chapel of Adoration to worship Jesus?
Some may ask what is the difference of worshiping Jesus in the privacy of their own home or car as opposed to coming to worship Jesus in Adoration? What is the difference of Jesus present in Holy Scripture or in the midst where two or three gather in His name for prayer? What makes the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist any different then His presence in the people of God gathered for Mass?
I will try to address the difference.
We worship and Adore Jesus who is truly and substantially present in the Holy Eucharist. The Eucharist is nothing less than the Body Blood Soul and Divinity of our Risen Lord Jesus. Jesus in his Divinity or simply Jesus as our God is everywhere since God has no limits of where he exists. Jesus as God is specially present in the proclamation of the Holy Scriptures or where Two or three gather in his name. He is present through the people of God especially at Mass. But nowhere is Jesus present with his Risen Body, Blood & Soul other than in Heaven and under the Sacramental Veil of the Blessed Eucharist.
This is why the Eucharist is a presence above all others because here we have our Lord Jesus present in his Body and Blood and Soul along with his Divinity just as he is in heaven. This is why the Blessed Eucharist is the source and summit of our Catholic Faith because it is nothing less than the whole risen Lord Jesus.
The Eucharist goes way beyond the spiritual presence of God in His Word in Holy Scripture, in the people gathered in prayer, etc.. because the Eucharist makes Jesus' Risen Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity present, hence why we call the Eucharist the Real Presence, not to say that Jesus present in the Holy Scripture or among the people in prayer is not important but rather to express the fact that no where else but in Heaven and in the Eucharist is Jesus present substantially with his Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. The only difference being the way we see him.
Here on earth our mortal eyes see a host of what looks like unleavened bread, but our eyes of Faith see and recognize Jesus our Risen Lord Truly present under the appearance of Bread. It is a tremendous gift of Faith and an awesome gift to know Jesus in the Blessed Eucharist. Let us all pray for this gift of faith.
In Jesus our Eucharistic Lord,
Marco A. Fallon
